This rugged instrument features a built-in IR thermometer with a laser pointer, allowing for non-contact surface temperature measurements from -58 to 518°F (-50 to 270°C). The clamp can measure AC current up to 1000 Amps with a maximum resolution of 0.1 Amps, and its 1.7-inch jaw can accommodate conductors up to 750MCM.
The EX840 offers a range of advanced meter functions, including True RMS AC/DC current and voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, infrared and contact temperature, diode-test, and continuity check.
